This Disclaimer applies to the MEGO Platform operated by MEGO Pakistan (SMC PRIVATE LIMITED).
1. Marketplace role
MEGO provides a platform that connects buyers and sellers. We do not own items listed by users and are not a party to transactions between users. Prices, descriptions, and deal terms are set by users.
2. User content
Listings, messages, reviews, images, and other content are provided by users. MEGO does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, safety, legality, or authenticity of user content or items.
3. Offline meetings and safety
If you meet another user in person, you do so at your own risk. Take sensible precautions, meet in public places where appropriate, and never share passwords or OTPs. MEGO is not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage arising from offline interactions.
4. No escrow for C2C purchases
Unless we expressly launch a separate escrow or payment-protection product and you opt into it, MEGO does not hold purchase money for ordinary classifieds deals between buyers and sellers.
5. Payments coming soon
Online wallet top-ups and third-party payment methods (such as EasyPaisa, JazzCash, and cards) are marked coming soon. Availability and terms will be shown in the app when enabled.
6. No warranty
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
7. Limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MEGO is not liable for disputes, losses, or damages arising from user-to-user transactions, reliance on listings, or third-party services. See our Terms of Service for full terms.
