These Community Guidelines help keep MEGO — operated by MEGO Pakistan (SMC PRIVATE LIMITED) — safe, fair, and useful for everyone in Pakistan.
1. Be honest
- Post accurate titles, prices, photos, and descriptions
- Do not use bait pricing, stolen photos, or fake urgency
- Disclose major defects and whether price is negotiable
2. Be respectful
- Communicate politely in chat and reviews
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, or discrimination
- Do not share another person’s private information without permission
3. Trade safely
- Prefer public meeting places for local deals
- Inspect items before paying when meeting in person
- Never send money or OTPs to “MEGO staff” who contact you unexpectedly — we will not ask for your password or PIN
4. Allowed categories
List items and services that fit MEGO categories (mobiles, vehicles, property, electronics, jobs, services, fashion, and more) and that are legal to sell in Pakistan.
5. Not allowed
- Illegal, stolen, counterfeit, or dangerous goods
- Scams, phishing, or pyramid / get-rich-quick schemes
- Adult sexual content or exploitation
- Weapons and other restricted items where prohibited
- Spam, duplicate flooding, or keyword stuffing
- Review or coin manipulation
6. Reporting
Use the Report option on listings or contact support@mego.pk. We may remove content and restrict accounts that break these guidelines or our Terms.
